Mina has set up her living and dining areas for child care along with one bedroom.  She plans to use the community playgrounds for outdoor play.  She has previous experience caring for children of family members as well as her own child.

From Her Mentor


Working with Victoria was an exceptionally positive experience.  She was able to display her nurturing and kind personality while mentoring with me.  Victoria was an attentive listener.  She truly wanted to understand the entire process of childcare so she could implement those ideas in the future.  Victoria was fully engaged in every activity we were doing.  She helped out during feeding, snake time, play time and much more.  She already has plenty of experience on how to property take care and love a child.  She will continue to implement these ideas and will successfully run her day care.

Veronica brings years of experience working as a child care provider.  This was evident from the way she interacted with the children.  During mentoring, Veronica was very energetic and brought in great positive energy.  She took leadership and was engaged with all of the children in singing, dancing, creating art, and playing outdoors.  Veronica is dedicated to early childhood development and is devoted to proving the best care to each child.  All of the children immediately bonded with her and enjoyed her joyful and caring nature.  She is a natural caregiver.

My child started daycare for the first time at 21 months old. So of course this new, but-no-longer-full-time mom was nervous about it. I’m so thankful we found Veronica! She has given my daughter so much extra love and attention, and maintained wonderful communication with me throughout it all. My daughter truly looks forward to going, talks about “Vero and Mia”, and miraculously has not missed a nap during this transition! Veronica has taken her outside for walks and playtime nearly every day this winter, for which I’m extra grateful. Sidiqa was very eager and prepared to gain firsthand experience of interacting with children of different ages.  During her mentoring, she was very attentive and understanding with children in accommodating their needs.  Sidiqa interacted well with the children and participated in various activities like arts and crafts, singing and dancing, and puzzles.  She approached each child with love and compassion and had a strong desire to make sure each and every child was well taken care of.  Sidiqa was very active in caring for the children and their development.  In addition to raising her own children Sidiqa was an experienced school teacher.  I am confident that she will bring the same dedication, love and passion to the children in her home day care.

I noticed right away that Saeeda is a very loving individual and is perfect for children.  Throughout her mentoring, Saeeda was very active and was interested in caring for children of all ages.  She was quick to understand and accommodating to each child’s needs with compassion.  It was evident that Saeeda had a passion for childcare from the way she made sure each child was well taken care of.  She participates actively in various different activities from arts and crafts, outdoor play, and singing and dancing.  In all aspects of the children’s daily routine, Saeeda made sure she had an active role, was engaging with the children, and created the best environment to allow them to learn and grow.  I was very impressed to see the quality of care that Saeeda provided to each child and could tell that she treated each child as her own.  It is undeniable that Saeeda is very committed, patient, and caring.  I am confident that she will bring the same values to her own home day care.

From Her Child Care Specialist & Parents


During Meena’s mentoring process with me, she had been nothing but wonderful.  She is calm and can create a fun environment for the children.  Meena participated in all of the daily activities and she lead the children very well.  The children loved interacting with her.

Meena was on time and is very organized.  She can follow a daily routine yet she can be flexible according to the children’s mood and need.

Meena will be a wonderful child care provider.  She is warm, friendly and highly professional.

Meena’s kind demeanor and warm heart were immediately apparent.  She has a wide variety of toys in her play space, and can accommodate a range of ages.  She was especially careful to accommodate to our child’s dietary restrictions, and would verify with us if there was ever a question about an ingredient.  She would also send us periodic updates/pictures to keep us posted on our child’s day, as well as give us a daily report at pick-up.  Working with Meena was a wonderful experience for our daughter.

Meena always greeted [our son] so cheerfully and with kisses and hugs.  She event sent pictures of him happily playing which was really thoughtful of her.  I could tell Meena really enjoys the work she does and cares about the children in her care.

I brought my family to meet Meena at her home and we were able to see her home childcare space.  She showed me the documentation of her qualifications as well, and thoroughly answered my questions about how she cared for the children during the day.

Meena was very kind and gentle with [our daughter], and it is evident that she really loves children (and babies).  Our daughter was happy at the morning drop off with Meena and did not seem overly tired or upset upon pickup.  Sometimes Meena would text a photo of our daughter during the day, which was very reassuring to see her and that she was happy.  Meena provided activity sheets to review what activities she had engaged our daughter in through the day; Meena was happy to take the time at pickup to tell me about our daughter’s day, what she ate, when she slept, her diaper changes, and other such information, which I really appreciated.   In summary, we had a very good experience with Meena, and I highly recommend Meena as an ITFDC childcare provider.

Nadia enjoys offering a variety of toys and reading to the children.  She has previous experience as a family child care provider with another organization.  In her spare time, Nadia enjoys cooking and going for walks.

Our daughter has been in Nadia’s care for over a year now. Upon meeting Nadia, I knew immediately she was going to be the one to care for my daughter. She was so very welcoming, loving and reassuring. Dropping my daughter off at Nadia’s in the mornings does not feel like I am taking her to a daycare, but more like a relative’s house. Nadia gives so much care to Lyla that I never worry about her well being. This is an immense relief because it allows me to focus solely on my work responsibilities. Every morning, our daughter joyously jumps into Nadia’s arms and never wants to leave at the end of the day. Nadia is incredibly attentive and constantly developing our daughter’s language skills. Before speaking to our daughter in her native language, Farsi, she first asked our permission, as she did not want to overstep any boundaries. This is just one example of her exemplary quality of always getting our approval first. Our daughter at 1.5 years old can understand Farsi and English. It is absolutely exceptional that our daughter understands two languages at such as young age. We see our daughter’s mind always at work whether Nadia is speaking to her in Farsi or reading to her in English. Nadia is also the most amazing cook. Our daughter is fed healthy homemade food on a regular basis. She is a very active child, and the fact Nadia can keep her completely occupied is no easy feat. Her neighborhood is very safe and family friendly. Nadia will often walk with her in the neighborhood when weather permits. Even if they cannot get outside for a neighborhood walk, her backyard is incredibly large. Our daughter learns all about the different fruit trees, flowers and has plenty of room to run around. We are beyond happy and find it an enormous blessing that we have Nadia to care for her. Any child would be in magnificent hands under her care.

I love kids and I like to take care of kids and spend time with them.  It is very important to pay close attention to infants and toddlers at all times.  Children who are the youngest need the most care.  I want to help parents too.  Good child care is very important to me and I want to provide that service to the community.

It’s been almost a year since we started sending our son to Nadia’s house and we have been thrilled by the outstanding care giving she provides for our little man. He started with Nadia at only 4 months old and as a first time Mom I was very nervous about sending my son to daycare but those feelings quickly shifted as I saw how he was excelling in Nadia’s care. She’s very attentive to his needs, continuously sends me updates on him throughout the day and is very responsive and flexible to our schedules.  In essence Nadia is an absolute delight to work with and we are so happy that our son loves spending time with her and all the little girls at her in-home daycare.

Nadia provides such a loving and supportive home for our daughter and really cares about her well-being and development on so many levels. Our daughter lights up when she sees Nadia every morning, and we are so appreciative of the great care that she gets every day!

Nadia is a conscientious, caring, and thoughtful caregiver, and a delightful personin general.  Our daughter was with her from the time she was 6 months old until she started preschool at 2.5 years.  Our daughter always looked forward to going ot Nadia’s house, racing us up the driveway to beat us to the door.  She barely batted an eye when we dropped her off in the mornings, she was so comfortable and happy to be with Nadia – sometimes Nadia even had to remind her to tell us goodbye!

Our daughter is very good about sharing, about proactively checking in on us or our son (her older brother), or give us a smooch and a hug if we are hurt.  She started kicking a ball much earlier than our son did, and is surprisingly comfortable around other children.  We attribute much of these positive developments to Nadia’s influence and guidance for our daughter and the other children in her care.

Nadia is a fabulous cook, and our daughter eats much better for Nadia than she does at home.  Nadia is careful to feed to children a balanced diet, and we often got adorable videos of our daughter cleaning all the vegetables off her plate.
Nadia’s set up at her daycare is great, with a dedicated and colorful space for indoor play, for sleeping, and with a fenced-in backyard and some small playground equipment.  There’s also a playground within walking distance that Nadia sometimes takes the kids to play on.  Our daughter loves to be outside, to walk, to slide.  Nadia not only has the setup for this, she actively encourages the children to be outside and to play/explore.
She is great about sending us pictures/videos during the day, and updates when appropriate.  She’s very friendly and easy to talk to as parents, and it is obvious that she and our daughter just adore each other from the way they are so happy to see one another each day.
We are so grateful we found Nadia and that she was such a key part of our lives  We would not hesitate even a moment to recommend her daycare to anyone else.
