Hello my name is Zakia. I am a wife to my loving husband for more than 30 years and a mother of four children. I am also a grandmother to my beautiful grandchildren.
I have successfully been a child care provider since 2009. My love for children began with raising my own four children. When they grew up I wanted to help new parents and provide excellent care to my daycare children. I love to see little angels playing around me and their bright happy faces everyday. I believe that we learn a lot from children. Each child is unique and has their own personality, habits, etc. We gain more experience as we get to know and care for each child and fulfill their needs.
I have excelled in my work tremendously. I started from taking English courses when I first came to the U.S. and slowly started taking courses, learning about child care, obtained my license, set up my daycare with all the required safety and developmental equipment, as well as getting CPR/First Aid and MAT certifications. I recently completed my NVCC Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care. Infant Toddler Family Day Care has provided me with a great platform to begin my work and I have learned a lot from them. I love to work with ITFDC and I have always had great experience with them.
The most important thing for me when caring for children is their safety and providing excellent quality care with a nurturing environment for them to grow up in. I provide a loving and caring environment for the children in my care with all my heart.
