Etsegenet’s Perspective

Because I love children. I like to take care of children. I treat them according to their ages, with love, care and responsibility. I love that I am doing something for the children. I try to find activities and toys that can give the children a fun learning experience. The most important thing for me when caring for children is their safety and providing excellent quality care with a nurturing environment for them to grow up. I provide a loving and caring environment for the children in my care with all my heart.

Nazia’s Perspective

My Philosophy for appropriate infant and toddler care: It is that their needs are always met. Infancy to toddler is a crucial age for emotionally and intellectual development. I believe it’s a childcare provider’s responsibility to attend to every need of the child. This forms a strong emotional well-being that will later on help the child form good emotional bond in adulthood.

Over the past week, I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Saira Riaz. Throughout my time mentoring, I grew to know Saira on a personal level and saw the value that she brings to a daycare setting. She is extremely kind, warm, loving, and patient. When working with children, she is attentive understands the child’s need on a deep level. I was also impressed to see how engaging she is with children whether that is while partaking in arts and crafts activities, outdoor play, and even while reading stories and putting on a puppet show. Saira has a background in education and teaching which only adds to her qualifications as a professional educator. She has all the qualities you would want in a provider and is someone you can truly trust to provide the best care possible to any and every child. It has been a very delightful experience working with Saira and I have no doubt in my mind that she will continue to provide exceptional care given her tremendous qualifications.

I was a substitute teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools. I love kids and I’ve always wanted to work with them. I believe that kids should be taught the basic at an early age before preschool.

I had the pleasure of mentoring Lavina recently.  Right away it was evident that she is a loving individual; perfect for children.  During her mentoring, Lavina was very interested in and passionate about caring for children of all ages.  It was evident that she had a true love for childcare from the way she made sure each child was well taken care of and accommodated for.  She participated actively in various different activities from arts and crafts, outdoor play, and singing/dancing.  Lavina was very creative and innovative in creating stimulating activities for the children.  She made sure that she had an active role and was also engaging with the children to create the most ideal environment to enable them to learn and grow.  Lavina is very committed, patient and caring.  I am confident that she will bring the same values in her own home day care.

Even since I was a small child, I wanted to be a teacher and be with children.  I love watching them play and the little things that make them happy.  They are so full of love and so innocent.  Today’s children are tomorrow’s future.  So education, love, care, and learning are all very important.  They build confidence in the children.  They will grow up to be great and happy adults.  Every experience they  have from childhood adds up to their social, emotional and physical development.  It is important to give them the best love and care.

It was a delightful experience working with Bina.  She brings years of experience as a mother of three which was evident from the way she interacted with the children.  During her time here, Bina was very energetic and brought immense positive energy.  She took leadership and was engaged with all of the children in singing, dancing, creating art and playing outdoors.  I was very impressed to see how patient and attentive she was with each child and understanding their individual needs.  She brought her own experience of being a mother into the caring for children and approached each child with love and compassion.  Bina is dedicated to early childhood development and is devoted to providing the best care to each child.  All of the children bonded with her and enjoyed her joyful and caring nature.  Bina is a natural caregiver.  I am confident that she will provide the best care possible to the children in her home day care.

I have 3 children of my own.  I take pride that I will take care of your child like my own.

My whole life and education has been dedicated to raising and working with children.  I understand it takes to raise children and recognize the first three years are the most important in a child’s life.  Early experiences provide the basis for brain development.  It has a direct impact on how children develop their learning, social, and emotional abilities.
