Welcome to My Family!
In my small group family child care home, I emphasize the importance of the loving relationship that is formed between myself and your child. At the heart of my program is the belief that this personal and lasting relationship provides the best possible learning environment.
A Typical Day
To work effectively with the babies and children in my care, it is necessary to plan a routine for sleeping, eating, diaper changing and conducting educational activities. This routine will guide me in carrying out my work in an organized manner, always considering the specific needs of each child.
From Maria Isabel’s Mentor
This letter is to state that Maria Isabel Hernandez Rivas has completed her required 40 hours of mentoring sessions with me. Maria has been nothing but wonderful. She was working at a childcare center prior to mentoring with me and her experience shows through her work. She is calm and create a fun environment for the children. Maria participated in all of my daily activities, and she can lead children very well; they love interacting with her.
Maria Isabel was on time every day and she is very organized. She can follow a daily routine as well as be flexible when necessary, depending on the children’s moods and/or immediate needs. Her interaction with the parents is commendable.
Maria Isabel will be a wonderful childcare provider. She is warm, friendly and highly professional.
– Alicia Orlando, Infant Toddler Family Day Care Provider
From Maria Isabel
I want to become a Provider of Infant Toddler Family Day Care to offer families a safe place where babies and children can grow up in a healthy and loving environment. Regarding education and early childhood development, I believe that the first years of a child’s life are a crucial stage for developing the skills and abilities necessary for their psychomotor, cognitive, social and emotional development.
