DESCRIPTION:When biting occurs\, we all get frustrated and feel overwhelmed\, but did you know that is typical behavior for toddlers? In this training\, we will explore biting behavior and its effects on typical development\, and we will discuss why infants and toddlers bite. We will discuss typical scenarios of infants and toddlers biting and discover strategies to help support caregivers to decrease biting behaviors. We will also use reflection and some hands-on activities to better understand biting behavior and the importance of communicating with the caregivers in the child’s life. \nTHIS TRAINING WILL BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY.
