When you join the Infant Toddler Family Day Care family, we refer you to early child care educators licensed by ITFDC. ITFDC has been a trusted child care resource in the entire Northern Virginia area since 1983. We do more than match your family with an early child care educator. We stay in touch with every early child care educator by visiting in the homes, training and mentoring educators, and by providing them with higher education opportunities. Our early child care educators provide nurturing and individualized care to each child in a safe, secure, and creative learning environment.
WE PROVIDE CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL SERVICES
ITFDC partners with the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (NACCRRA) to offer child care resource and referral services in Arlington, Loudoun and Prince William Counties and the cities of Manassas, Manassas Park and Alexandria. We can provide you with free individualized referrals to over 1200 local child care homes, centers, preschools or before/after school programs. One of our CCR&R referral can conduct a referral search for you or you can log on to our CCR&R Online Database to conduct your own search. If you are a military family looking for child care, you may qualify for child care subsidy, and one of our child care referral specialists can search for a nationally accredited provider to meet your needs.
ITFDC WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
We help individuals who want to open their own licensed child care business by providing guidance through the licensing process. We take great pride in the expertise and professionalism of our early child care educators – a special group of individuals who are committed to every child they meet. We work closely with each caregiver to help them complete the licensing process and to successfully begin their careers as a child care educator.
ITFDC IS A SPONSOR OF THE USDA FOOD PROGRAM
ITFDC sponsors caregivers who are interested in participating in the USDA Child Care Food Program.
