In my small group family child care home I emphasize the importance of the loving relationship that is formed between myself and your child. At the heart of my program is the belief that this personal and lasting relationship provides the best possible learning environment.
A Typical Day
- Greet families; structured free play
- Breakfast
- Stretching and exercises with music
- Morning Snack
- Potty Time
- Music/Dance/Art/Crafts
- Outside Play (weather permitting)
- Lunch
- Nap
- Afternoon Snack
- Afternoon Activities: Circle time, stories, reading, music
- Pick Up: Prepare Children’s things before parents come, Get activities sheet ready for parents. Short parent discussion on children’s needs and what children are doing/not doing.
From Parents
We are so thrilled with how our son is learning and developing from attending Mary’s daycare. He comes home singing full nursery rhymes, can recite the alphabets and can count up to 20. Mary’s home is organized, super clean, and of course, full of toys. We love the fact that Mary has a day of activities planned out for the kids so they can learn and have fun at the same time.
Mary is dedicated and superb at her job, but most importantly just a wonderful person. We’re so grateful and can’t thank her enough for taking such great care of our son.
