Choosing a Qualified Child Care Provider

Although scheduling will be entirely between you and your provider, we can identify a select group of our providers for you to consider. 

All of Infant Toddler Family Day Care system licensed providers complete the following training:

  • Initial Training classes – Child Development (6 hours), Safety (4 hours), Professionalism (4.5 hours), and Interviewing & Communication Skills (3 hours)
  • Complete CPR, First Aid and Medical Administration Training
  • Work with a mentor to learn first hand about child care (40 hours)
  • Complete a Criminal History Report and a Child Protective Services Report.
  • Complete a TB Test.
  • Complete reference check.
